Growing up in Massachusetts as a die hard Boston Red sox fan, I have a passion for Baseball, The Boston Redsox, and the Greenville Drive baseball team are my favorites!
The Greenville Drive is an affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, part of the South Atlantic League, and are a Class A team. The Drive celebrated their first official season in 2006 when the new ball park known as Flour Field opened. This stadium in many ways is a replica to Fenway Park. This 5,700-seat stadium debuted on April 6, 2006 and borrows many elements from its parent club, the Boston Red Sox, and their ball park, Fenway Park. It’s near identical dimensions with Pesky’s Pole in right field, the Green Monster, and the singing of “Sweet Caroline” have made many refer to the park as "Mini Fenway” located in Boston Massachusetts, with a signature Green Monster wall in left field.
The downtown ball park is located near several great eateries that seem to be mostly enjoyed before the ballgame, and to a lesser extent afterwards. The Liberty Tap Room Bar & Grill is a good stop where there is outdoor seating and is directly behind the left field wall. Adjacent to the tap room are Mexican and Japanese restaurants that feature sidewalk seating.Across the street is Mac's that serves up barbecue and plenty of beer on tap from local breweries in the south.
DowntownGreenville offers over 85 restaurants, with retail shops, and historic districts to visit. It is definitely an awesome city that is worth visiting if you have a few extra hours to spare. In Greenville, SC "Shoeless" Joe Jackson is a legend and there is a museum dedicated to him just steps from the ballpark near the Heritage Zone. The museum is his last place of residence before his death in 1951 and it houses a wealth of paraphernalia from his playing days.
Visiting DowntownGreenville can be a fantastic experience with many restaurants to dine in, and an amazing Falls Park. Falls Park on the Reedy, located in downtown Greenville's Historic West End, is one of Greenville's greatest treasures, a great walk along the Reedy River, or a stroll on the amazing Liberty Bridge which hangs above the reedy river overlooking the water falls, this unique bridge is a real sight to behold!

""Davey was patient and always there when I had a question. Even when I thought I wouldn't be able to buy until next year. Davey still took the time to schedule house showings so that I could also see different neighborhoods...I put my full trust in Davey and the Wondracek team, being I was 600 miles away. I should also say that Davey recommended Flip Beal at Priem Lending who was also great. Every person I've spoken to on your team has bee wonderful! I can' t thank you enough for helping me find my home.""
