Today's Q & A is with Norma Edwards, a bilingual real estate agent with Wondracek Realty Group in Greer, SC.
Q: How did you get your start in real estate?
A: I built my own home, and my real estate broker recruited me. I’ve always been in the customer service industry and being bilingual (English and Spanish) I thought I could find a niche.
Q: What do you like to do for fun?
A: I love to travel for fun. I’ve been to Cancun, Puerto Vallarta, Tampico, Mexico City, and Cabo San Lucas. I like seeing new cultures, love to experience new foods, and love meeting people.
Q: Best advice you have ever received?
A: “Don’t sweat the small things.” People tend to dwell on minor things and get worked up over it.
Q: What would you say to someone who is discouraged in the buying process?
A: I would say, look at the big picture. It will be worth it at the end to be able to have something to call yours. Make sure that you follow the guidance of your real estate agent.
